Actually, the stairs weren’t that scary to begin with.
It wasn’t until Mr. Zheng took a fall that the whole family really started to worry.
Ms. Zheng said she’s been worried every day since that day.
Her father is getting older, and her mother doesn’t have much strength when she walks,
so the stairs, which used to be so familiar, suddenly became the most dangerous place.

She eventually reached out to us.
For this project in Taichung, we installed a CF120 stairlift.
The rail runs from the basement to the second floor, incorporating a 90-degree turn and a U-shaped curve.
The entire route was custom-designed to make going up and down the stairs a breeze.

On the day it was installed, Ms. Zheng stood nearby watching her parents slowly go up and down the stairs.
She said,
“Now I feel much more at ease.”
Some equipment isn’t just for convenience—
it’s to give your family one less thing to worry about.
If the stairs in your home are starting to make you feel uneasy,
perhaps now is the time to do a little more to prepare for your parents’ future.
